Shards of Asgard - cg movie page

Hi everybody,

just wanted to show u a website im developing for a CG short film called Shards of Asgard

The website is still a work in progress so there are a lot of bugs/issues unfixed...and it might load a little longer cause its pretty big...

So im open to any comments/critiques...

Suggestions:

1) center it
2) use the circle loader thing on the site for the beginning loader so it's more uniform
3) get rid of the custom cursor
4) mask the sword better with the sheaf
5) make the beginning animations faster

that concept art was fantastic - sorry don't have time for a full critique - but it def. was interesting enough to keep my attention! :thumb:

The cursor doesn't look right, because it is something that was so incredibly overused back in the early days of the internet so just keep the regular cursor. I think also putting an alpha transition for when the sword and content area and also the preloader would help a lot. The fact that everything just pops into place right now looks kind of bad. Nice concept though.

overuse of graphics, cursor sucks mate. and the fonts*shudders*
lots of work to be done mate. and when i clicked home, it got stuck on the preloader on 100%

but the art looks cool:D

:( makes me think of one of the old school 8 bit colour games.

Clean it up! add some polish to it with some evident divisions- and change the nav text; it hurts.(-:
