Nice crisp photos, they'd make good backgrounds. :thumb2:

#2 is a frangapani? #4 has got a nice effect to it. Would def make good backgrounds.

Yeah, well i took them in my back yard over a period of a few days. There are a bunch more, but it would take quite a while to host them all. Is there any way i can show all of them without going through that long process? @ Phorte: yes, except in hawaii, we call them Plumerias.

The fourth one is the best.

I'm loving them all... but my favourite has to be number 2 - just beautiful. Nice work! What camera did you use?

they're sharp and big, but the composition is lacking, right now they are more documentary than artistic. they say this a flower instead of this is how i see a flower. not to say they are bad, but they could use some refinement.

like i said the composition and cropping could be better, as well as the control of depth of field. maybe a f5.6 at a center of a bloom to make the macro photography feel like you're being plunged into the world of an insect.

well, none of these were spiced up, they were just point and shoot. But if anyone wants to take some of my pictures and make something kool in photoshop with them, i would love to see:)
