Check it out... lemme know what you think. I'm going for the minimalistic, kinda one page folio type but with other pages aswell. What can be improved? What should I add/remove. Hit me up!

EDIT:: It's not completely finished. I still need to add more portfolio pieces and small things

eh... not a huge fan... i liked the previous version better, even though I don't think it was completed.

what concerns me the most is that you're using a javascript preload for your navigation... and you shouldn't need to.

the header text is to illegible, and the text is to small.

also on the coding note... :wt: is this?

<span class="h2">IhaveLEGS</span>

booooo to this:

align="center"
and encasing everything in a paragraph tag...

and lastly... missing an opening <p> tag here:

<div class="footer" align="center">

<p />
</div><!--end footer-->

Thanks simp. Yeah i'm still kindof a noob when it comes to css but i'm learning. Thats weird though because the nav is css rollovers, not javascript. Thanks for the critique. I wasn't too sure if I liked it better than my old version either, but it is ALOT cleaner than my old one so i may just stick with this.

flasher - thanks.

Hey Apix... I actually really like this one! It's a nice simple and clean design! But maybe you could increase the transparency of the nav buttons reflections? That would maybe make them a bit easier to read. But apart from that I'm really liking it :) ...even if other's don't like it as much as your older one... lol

it is a much cleaner look than the past, though IMO the earlier version stood out more compared to other one page portfolios.

As for your coding, it's good to get it verified to make sure everything is properly coded, I always get each page verified once I complete it, and correct my mistakes before I move on to other pages. This also eliminates me using the wrong code throughout the site.

I think overall, it's well put together, good use of colour, and your work in your portfolio section stands out with the dark background.

Just noticed some glitch on your div. I scrolled down your portfolio section and clicked on contact, and for some reason your top paragraph moved to the far right, beside your contact button.

I've attached a screen shot to see what I meant.

I tried scrolling down in your portfolio and clicking to the other sections but it seems fine, just the contact section. You might want to check your coding on this section and have others see if it happens on their end.

acc - Thanks for the in depth critique. The reason your seeing that glitch is because I forgot to change one of the links. Thanks for pointing that out! I will work on getting the code all cleaned up and verified aswell.

josh - You still want your link on there? I haven't talked to you in ages so I took it off.

Creations - Thanks. There will always be mixed opinions on certain things :D.

Hey simp, I just looked at my footer code on all the pages and I cant find where you see that. Mabye you were looking at the wrong page, I forgot to change one of the links but it's fixed now. If you still see that error lemme know though.

Personally I'd lose the reflections on the nav, they don't add anything to the design. If you do keep them, the gradient(mask) needs to be slightly more subtle.

I really like the bunny, but do you think you could give him blood-soaked fangs please? Thanks.

I also noticed some of the links were not working, you have to input them including the http:// or they will be relative links. e.g. you now link to: http://www.apixdesigns.com/online/www.yaymonday.com

you should focus on quality instead of quantity. half your current portfolio is older versions of your portfolio that aren't very impressive. showcase your good work by removing the bad work.

hmm a minimalistic look is certainly not whats expected when someone sees the logo, since i think its the first thing loaded but from what i remember i liked ur previous one more than this
and others have already mentioned the other stuff so thats it!

yeah, i guess it works well now... it seems that the bugs were fixed :) really like the portfolio section ( i just had to say that again... )... and i really like the simple style, looks just like one of my "fun sites" where i upload pics after a party: http://www.plenarycreation.com/happy/club_happy.html

Good Luck Apix !

thanks guys, Once i have all my work rounded up I will weed out the ugly ones and keep the quality up. As much as I like complicated designs, I dont like them for a portfolio. I hate having to click a thumbnail to open a certain project so I tried to keep the previews big.
