Good day!

The question is "What is the Best Color Setting for Photoshop CS2?". I am having difficulty on how to manage the colors in Photoshop because i dont know what the best setting. The color of an image in the windows explorer is different when i open it in photoshop and also the color in photoshop is different from the print out.

Please help...

that depends on what your document is for, screen (web) or print?

I have my CS2 set for 'Let Photoshop determine colors' in the Print Preview dialogue which produces prints closer to the screen version. It's still a tad darker but not as bad when the printer determines colours.

This might help :)

Letting Photoshop determine the colours is the best in IMO. I once set it to do CMKY and it was horrible. So stick with "Let Photoshop Determine Colors"

print = cmyk. if you're pro;)
let photoshop determine yada yada. lol, i tried cmyk once and if you don't have a cmyk printer, chances are, it'll turn out horrible;)

Correct. Also the paper you print it on also determines what the photo is going to look like. I use Canon paper. Canon FTW
