I have found this newsticker which is exactly what I need...
http://www.flashkit.com/movies/Animations/Banners/News_Sty-David_Ol-4380/index.php
The only problem is that when I open the file in flashprofessional8 and then publish it, the text gets all "jagged" and not as smooth as the original file... I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with this!:)

Have you tried embedding the fonts?

I just tried it, and I didn't really see any difference.. The problem is not really the fonts itself, but rather that the "animation" doesn't work as smooth as the example in the link above... :)

Maybe anyone has another file like the one I need? I cannot believe that this should be very complicated:)

Make sure it's anti-aliased for animation too maybe?
If it's a problem with the tweening, try changing the frame rate or the tween length perhaps?
