Ok guys I know this is a little too much to ask for. :red:

I need volunteers to write tutorials for an upcoming site. The tutorials will be based on Adobe Photoshop. Your make will be shown at the end of every tutorial you write with your website link if you wish. The tutorials have to be good and we are trying to get unique tutorials. By saying unique, I mean that they are not found on tutorial search engines like www.pixel2life.com or www.good-tutorials.com. If you are interested or have any questions, please PM me, e-mail me at tutorials@adobelife.com, or IM me at lilalain92.

Thanks :cons:

Alright people, since I see nobody is interested on doing it for free I will have to offer some cash. The deal now is $5 USD for each tutorial you write. As I said on my starting post, it has to be unique and well explained. To make sure it's unique you can use tutorial search engines like www.pixel2life.com (http://www.pixel2life.com) or www.good-tutorials.com (http://www.good-tutorials.com) to see if it's already been done. Since I am paying for the tutorials I will not post your name or link at the end of the tutorial. After you receive the payment we will have full copyright of the tutorial. All tutorials will be posted on www.adobelife.com (http://www.adobelife.com) (under construction). Payments are made through PayPal.

Note: Only Adobe Photoshop tutorials.

If you are interested, please e-mail me at tutorials@adobelife.com, PM me, or post here. Please, I need these tutorials really soon.

not to hijack, but i think you're missing the mark with this domain. there are hundreds of photoshop tutorial sites around the web (and every topic is covered), so the question to ask is: could i ever generate enough content to compete? let alone unique content. personally, i don't think you can. it's too late in the game and you're probably not attracting the right talent.

so in my opinion, your best options are to act as a content gateway or go a completely different route.

not just tutorials of your own but also ones from other sites that you link to with permission

i personally wouldn't bother getting permission if you're just posting a link to it. but yes, that's basically what i mean.

Well ... if I do that I would have to really get to think of something unique to put in it... there is so many tutorial index sites... Well thanks for the recommendation.. my partner and I are thinking about this, and since I am the one that made the CMS for adobelife.com ... I might as well edit it.

or just write a scraper to go through the web and grab every photoshop tutorial it comes across. then post a link on your site to the full tutorial.

Well I prefer if the people submit the tutorials... kind of of like good-tutorials.com .. What do you mean by a scraper?

i mean write a PHP script(s) to parse entire tutorial sites to get the tutorial titles, url, etc. then populate your database. then link.

Oh... using something like RSS or XML?

sure, it could parse the RSS feeds. or just using file_get_contents to parse the whole HTML doc.
