This is another letter about the Lincoln Journal Star Miss Gay Nebraska Pageant, May 19. This one is even better.
Victory night is defeat
What's described in the Journal Star ("An Hour Here," regarding the Miss Gay Nebraska Pageant, May 19) is hardly a victory night.
It's rather the kind of defeat described in the Bible: "They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God. ... Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity" (Ephesians 4:18-19).
How can we win over that? "Thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ" (1 Corinthians 15:57).
