That doesn't make sense. Just because somebody made a name for themself doesn't mean everything they do is excellent. I stupid video of some girl laughing is far from a cool site in my opinion, regardless of who created it.

well
the point is
thery are joking about themselves
they are showing that they are not perfect and humans beings after all
the video is like a "home video", shooted in two second, showing that not everything has to "hd" video or nice quality, in fact, the guy holding the camera is really bad
whta i like from this sites is that they showthemselves, they proove they are not perfect, and they doit nicely, with a simple video

I understand that, but it still fails to make this a 'cool site'.

Hence my point that it shouldn't really be posted in a forum name "Kool Sites"

I think the video is cool. :| Mebbe it's because I've been working for big corporations for a while so I think it's really neat that they have the creative freedom to make fun of themselves like this?

I don't think that is very cool either. What is so special about it?

What is special about any site? The aesthetics, layout, transitions, features, work, colors, sounds? I could go on. Out of curiousity, what site would you consider special, as you seem to have a rather antagonistic view of sites (or maybe something against group94)?

antagonistic, not really, just giving my opinion. I didn't go on and brag about any site in particular that I like. I just decided to give my $.02 about this particular site because people here seem to think it is great, and I fail to see why. The link you posted isn't 'bad' really, but I don't particularly like it. The font size is too small, the usability is not great, those rollovers get pretty annoying. Anyway, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

It's not even worth commenting on.

Oh wait, I guess I just did! :look:

i think the concept of leaving a 'coming soon' video explaining why the new site is not there instead of a static coming soon page is quite clever and 'cool' in my opinion. It shows the companies sense of humor and you appreciate the effort to say sorry the new site didn't make our promised deadline (because our project manager sucks!, lol... i can relate to that:P.). Their actual old website is really not in question here, it's been there for ages and 'does the job' for the company all those years. Again it's all up to personal opinion.

To have a fullscreen video that looks that good and streams that well is pretty "kool" in my opinion. The LCD effect looks great and hides a lot of the compression. I like the idea of them posting videos up to the launch of the new site, it's kind of like how 2A demolished there old one running up to the launch of attractor. A coincidence that 2A and G94 are among the leading studios in the word? I think not.

It's "kool".
