[WIP] Layout Critique

I wanted to do a bit of designing/practice before designing a big site. So here it is. I plan on making it into a WordPress theme as well, so yeah.

As the title suggests, it's still in progress. Anything that I should add/change would be helpful :)

it does it's job i guess, but it's a tad boring. Drop shadow anyone?

Yay thanks. The only drop shadows I used were for the menu items on the top.

I thought I'd do a cliche web2.0 glass-gradient thing, but then it looked too cliche :(

right column with all the archive, home, etc. boxes, I think I'd rather not see a background gray behind it, to make it look more part of the page and really isolate the written entry apart.

Otherwise, it's nice.

I agree with acc about the background. Perhaps use a variant of the lighter green colour.

A quick update with some stuff.

@acc & dreeft - i'll play around with that. Right now, without that background, that dark-green "title-bar" of each box has too close of a color with the main background. I'll see what I can get.
