it's okay, but I do feel it lacks structure that grabs attention.
- Top banner, make your contact info float to the right, so it's always on the top right corner, otherwise, it looks weird being in the centre of my screen since you have your top header's background stretching to my window's size. Either that, or make your top header have the same width as your main content.
- alignment, I think your recent work and profile should align with what's on the left side, it'll add on to having a structure
not sure, if this is just temporary, but your bottom links don't work

Bah I prefer pages than ajaxed links.

Well Ajax is nice- but only when it is used well. For a case like this I would say it is best to put the content on pages. What if a user wanted to post a link to content on your site?
All they would get is a JS call.
