Which is better DreamWeaver 6.0 or FrontPage 2002

It really depends on the person thats using. I prefer dreamweaver, but then again, I could just use notepad because I don't use dreamweaver the way its supposed to be used. I like it because its color coded and it FTPs my files to my server when I save them. I don't use it much beyond that.

Either program is good depending on the person that is using it, and their competency with the program.

Let me put it this way;

I wouldn't suggest mentioning experience with Frontpage when applying for a web development position.

I am not applying for any job or anything. I am just developing my very own website so I thought I get some ideas from you guys. Thanks.

I prefer Dreamweaver. Dreamweaver, Flash, Fireworks and other Macromedia products seamlessly integrate each other.

merhaba & hosgeldiniz, osman ;)
ask kirupa, he wrote a book on Frontpage..
I only ever use Dreamweaver, the name already makes it great :)

I find Dreamweaver simple compared to FrontPage.

i code php and sometimes Server-side AS, and therefore dreamweaver definitely is the best tool for me, but as jubba said, it depends on how/why you're using it :)

i just use notepad too, because it requires me to remember the code, even though i have dreamweaver i rarely use it, even though i probably should. id like to try frontpage sometime, ive never used it.:-/

true it is the rawest form of making site but it is also hard to use

becuase it is just black code you can't see proplems so you have to look trough the code for hours debugging
