Hi,

Could anyone explain to me why the Flash file won't show up when played in Safari? It comes in super small and can't be seen... It contains an image and sound and should be in the first top black bar... Any help would be greatly appreciated! http://www.curiousclothing.com/new/index_test.htm

tomyknoker,

I can't see the Flash in IE7 at all. I linked directly to the .swf file from your code, and it shows up. So try going into flash and just Republish the HTML file. Take the code from there and try it again?

As of right now, I don't really have a clue what it might be.

I'm taking the code down now, and the .swf file and trying to see if i can get it to work locally.

Hi evilcoathanger... Thanks for taking a look! Yea it's so frustrating, when I publish the file it plays fine... But as soon as I copy and paste it into that document it doesn't display... :hair:

It seems that no flash is longer visible in Safari. I thought the problem was with me but if you search for a flash site (any site) it opens showing a Quicktime icon. Let us hope that Apple will attend to the problem because it is a problem.

Have you checked to make sure your flash player is up to date? I'm pretty sure that Safari hasn't suddenly dropped Flash content.

I use a Mac daily, and my Safari still runs flash just fine. So, yeah.

tomyknoker,
did you ever get your original issue fixed?
