so i have a tuner card and it works fine but i can only record 2 gigs at a time then it stops and starts overwriting the 2 gigs which is only about 1 hour of tv so how can i get this 2 gigs higher? msi tv@anywhere tv tunercard

There is probably some setting that is set to not take up more than 2GB of space on your hard drive for recorded TV shows. Have you dug around your TV Tuner software's options? Instead of a space limit, it might even be "Only keep the most recent 2 hours of recorded content on my hard drive", so you should look out for time-based limits.

Just a thought ... I´m no expert on this ;)
It might be your filesystem limiting you to a maximum filesize of 2 GB !
What kind of filesystem are you using ?

nahh ive checked all of them so now im pretty much looking through cfg files in notepad looking for 2gigs or certain time limit
