What kind of flyer is that supposed to be? (is it 8.5 x 11 or is this going to be electronic?)

Sorry - but a lot of your elements don't go well together. The font selection, the high tech looking computers with the tropical background on one side ... and the golden world etc.
Also, why do you have that big text almost mirrored but not really towards the left? It's like a glow or something - looks like it's blurry and out of focus but I can tell it's done on purpose.

I'd try another stab at it - try to keep it cleaner and use elements in it that at least go well together. (might look into using Helvetica type fonts or possibly Swiss or something)

I hope Simp see's it and gives you advice. ;)

It will be 8.5x11.

I kinda liked the font, but I could always change it. The right image was to represent S.FL, but I could try something tech style instead and see how it goes. I played around with the text, and it was more spread apart before when someone recommended bringing it closer together, I agree it makes it more blurry.

I've never tried to create any type of print work and I'm struggling with it.

also: Do you guys know of any place to look for inspiration?

Wow, that looks more like 3 flyers in one, I agree with boon, simplify it and use elements that go togehter. As far as insperation goes just do a google search for flyers or print adds.

definitely too much stuff on it. the tropical pic on the side needs some contrast. too bright mate. and the fonts could use some changing;)
