And, what do you think!?

To me, this game is everything I had ever hoped it would be. Sure, 4 years in development is a long time, but honestly - SO worth it :link:

My favorite part of the game has to be the atmosphere the it gives off. Every temple is different, every area looks beautiful, fishing is so relaxing and the night and day system is breathtaking.

I don't want to post any spoilers but I'm 46h:09m into the game and right now I'm having some fun in the clouds ;) This game hasn't let me down once! Are there some things I would change, yah sure. Do they take away from what is pretty much a perfect game... hell no!

So what do you think? Are you enjoying Twilight Princess as much as I am?

Hey man, long time.
I havn't picked up a Wii yet but hope too within a month. Everything I have read about this game is positive. It's been so hard not to run out and pick up the gamecube version.

I'll get my Wii + Zelda next week, I can't wait! :D
Questilon to those who've played Zelda TP on Wii, how was the controlls? Funny as hell? Hard? Boring?

It's pretty responsive. It just gets kind of annoying when you have to shake the nunchuck a certain way to get a certain action. Sword swings are just quick flicks of the wrist. The way they implemented all the moves was very well done.

I beat this game a couple weeks ago and did pretty much everything cept collecting all the Poes. The desert temple boss battle was probably my favorite boss battle in any game ever. Definitely pick up this game if you have a chance.

I know what you mean with the clouds ;) I just finished the 4th temple and I have a time of 41 hours :D As i said in the other thread I´m exploring everything I can, getting the poes, insects, and all that stuff...you know..taking my time :smirk:

I´m enjoying as much as I expected, the caracters all are very well made, I like the story, the controls and the graphics....the only thing I was hoping more is the music, in some places is too quiet or non existent, I know is to create the atmosphere, but I was hoping to hear some memorable remixes of ocarina...but that is my only complaint, everything else is perfect!

I liked it up to the point they got gannon involved in the story I mean cmon get rid of him already Zelda is like a neverending story IMHO, I bought the GC version because I couldnt find a wii, what sucks is a week later I got a wii and I wasnt gonna buuy zelda for wii since I already spent hours playing it on gc so I play it on my wii

Its a good game but the stories are getting boring already, they gotta do something diffrent.

I've been playing it, but not as much as I'd like to. It's been awesome so far though, I just need some more free time. Sure the story is similar to other Zelda games, but that's at least part of what makes it a Zelda game. I usually play for the puzzles and gameplay rather than the stories anyhow.

Wow the responses are great, that's awesome.

Fester, I'm doing well bro and it has been a while. I hope you can get yourself hooked up with a Wii soon. We can exchange ID's and have our Mii's mingle. When you get the system, you'll know what I'm saying.

As for the story, I love it. I don't care if they ever deviate from the Gannon story line. Sorry for the spoilers guys - but Grim already jumped that hurdle ;). I think it's what makes the series great. Besides, it's not like Zelda follows some precise time line, it's pretty much wide open when they make a new game. I like the fact that most games are their own stories. I will admit though, it is great when they throw in a clue that relates to an old game in the series.

Berk, I'm trying to take my time as well... maybe not to the extent you are but 46h for me is a HUGE accomplishment. I have ADD when it comes to games - it usually doesn't take long for me to move on :)

Tho - you are so right about that boss. How amazing. It all goes back to the atmosphere and feel of the whole game. Zelda is known for amazing boss battles. Sure they may be a bit on the simple side for the most part, but that doesn't make them any less fun :link:

I´m with you Sureshot, it is not common for me to spend hours and hours in a game, usually I get bored, but not with zelda, I enjoy every minute, is a game people shouldn´t rush to the end, because we don´t know when the next zelda game is going to happen (Wii 2 :D)

Now that you mention it, bosses at this point have been very cool, maybe too easy, but the important part, very fun.

What about the market?

Which one do you like the best, this one or the one in OOT?? For me both are great, I like this one more because is 3 times bigger, but I liked the music more in OOT.

Boss battles have been great the only thing I dont like its the easiness of beating them, I really enjoyed the underwater worm battle kinda reminded me of Shadow Colossus, what I don't like too much is the wolf part thing but at least its something diffrent, that reminded me of Okami

Now I would love to play a new kid icarus game theres so much potential with the technology now that they can make a very cool game, I still don't know what Nintendo is waiting for.
