So this is a really basic question. In photoshop ,How do I select something, and then all of the space inside it.
EDIT: Er uh wow. That made no sense. I mean, for example say I make a black outline of a circle. How can I select the circle in the space in it?

Ooer, you mean if it is an outline only?
Well if you kept the path you might be able to use that- or just fill it in with a really solid colour, then magic wand it and grab the shape?
I'm kinda confused as to what you mean?
I am assuming you are trying to select the inside of a lined circle?

use the magic wand
or ctrl-click a layer thumbnail in the layers palette to select all opaque pixels
remember that you can press alt/shift during selection to remove/add selection areas

brush over the area you wanna select in a separate layer, press shift and click that layer to get the selection area, go to the original layer with the stuff on it;)
