Hi Guys, im wondering if you could review Greenlush.com (http://www.greenlush.com) for us? We are a web hosting company based in the UK although we have plans to open offices in New York USA. We supply shared, reseller, vps and dedicated servers as well as domain names.

Overall its pretty nice, but its missing the little design things that could really enhance it...

For example, the way you are displaying your content text,

(ie: "Founded in 2005, Greenlush Web Hosting already hosts over 7,000 websites worldwide...")

Is quite unimaginative, all there is is a grey box, and looks very very flat compared to the rest of the site!!!!

I agree with fasterthanlight™, those "boxes" can be improved. Another thing: I think you should choose either the fade-thing og the shadow on the text in the banner. I would recommend the shadow, but your choice, just choose.

Anyways, the thing I really miss in all webhosting-companies, is the choice of more domains, (.eu, .de, .es, .dk, etc.), since, in Denmark anyways, the webhosting is very expensive, and it costs some more money to transfer the domain. But I guess that isn't SO important, since most of your customers will come from UK/US.

Yeah but we still care about people like you, i will work on getting more domain name extensions and getting the site translated in many other European languages. :)

I like the site, cool color scheme and rounded borders. Very nice.

EDIT: After further poking around, I found the "Domain" area of the site in...gasp...maroon! I like the green of the rest of your site, it would be cool if you could tie that in too.

EDIT2: When you do the sign up for your very basic hosting package, and choose anually, the price stays at $18, and doesn't drop down to the $15 like it says on the page before, just an FYI.

the header looks pretty amateur. you should develop a logo instead of just using trebuchet ms and slapping it on a gradient bg. the content area on the homepage looks pretty half-baked as well.

also, the header and that huge banner on the homepage are battling too hard right now. one of them needs to shrink). i also say this b/c when you click on one of the header links, it refreshes the content section. but b/c your header and banner take up a whole screen, the user might not notice the content area has changed.

Right, you shall think about a better header design.

I like the colors... but I think firstable the domain doesn't show it's a hosting company. Second, the design is like totally off, I couldn't tell it was a hosting company at all first until I scrolled down to see the offers

that nice blue color doesn't show up enough. And the graph showing your 99.95% uptime isn't as "tall" as it could be. There is a lot of room for just .05% and I think you could fill that space.

Wow that was picky of me sorry.

Another thing, using IE... The menu links on the top are messed up I gues because there is like a gap on the left and then there isn't a gap on the other side..

Ditch the 2.0 reflection , and add some hills and things into the head. :)

Lots of work to do yet :) We need to work on the domains page. There is so much SEO work to do yet, as we need to get the site higher in its google listings *DOH! Its so competative* We need to work on getting links to the other pages and not just the home page so they rank individually. The domains page has alot of work to be done on it yet.
