Okay - a few things:
-kill the spacing off the top of the header
-you don't ahve much of a colour scheme defined - and that bright green you have right now doesn't look very perdy - maybe use a dark background colour and then accent it with your header
- the navigation seems out of place - maybe put it at the bottom of the site?
- it took me a while to realize how to scroll through your portfolio
-implement a few more graphics in the site - and have some welcome text or something explaining who you are and what you're about
Try some of those things and see how it turns out.:)
Good luck!

Go to colourlovers.com and choose a palette that bathes your visual reception organs in warm feelings
Label all your buttons... for usability's sake
header needs vertical downsizing
Blur animation = "meh" unless you tone it down a loooooooooooot
TRansitions were a bit choppy...
Implement some sort of indicator of how many items are showing out of the total or what page number out of the total you are viewing
Spice up the portfolio item containers
Emphasize navigational elements! all your buttons are small and of the same visual weight as your body text >> poor definition between controls and content
Rollovers are fun (ie Launch button)
Design a logo!
