Nonrepeating Background

Ok i made a background in Photoshop and then i import it into Dreamweaver MX, but like it tiles i was wondering how you make the background just use teh one image and just keep scrolling down.... I don't know if that made much sense but if it didnt tell me and ill try and rephrase it...
