What a few bad things to say... smh

You are not experienced and its visible there. But thats not a reason to put you down. Interesting about the image is the concept of combining certain image with a mask of the same thing, but with a different approach. And thats good, no matter how is the idea executed and I havent seen it anywhere, if I dont count cubism, which was a way different anyway.

You should have worked on it longer tho. Because if you would, you might have e.g. noticed that the shape resemble a comics balloon. Then it would be just a step from a concept of series of images on the subject of saying things trough expressions. etc.

And seriously, I like that image way more than, for example, jimmyrobs footer

Jimmyrob, nice portfolio. Its a bit too "inspired" by www.stephaneguillot.com in my opinion though.

That was basically my "Says the man with the unoriginal work".

Agreed. That's a great concept, and your image lends itsself to that.
It also reminds me of one of those optical illusion thingos that looks like a sihlouette on one hand and could also be the side of a face through a mask on the other. Chris, your image doesn't suck, just keep workin on it.

Jimmy, jimmy, jimmy... RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr rrrrrrrrrrrrrriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iiiippppppppppppppppppppppppppppeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee eerrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Even looks like you've screen-dumped some of the aspects Stephane's site. Any one in the know will pick your site as a rip straight away, as Stephane's site is so well known now. Heck, I even saw it in "WebDesigner" magazine once. For your own future, please change your site!!! Keep the concept, but at least change the layout structure and general feel. Your character is much more stylised, so follow that theme through with the layout.

2 pence done.
