Hi I'm putting together a new company that refers people to specialty vendors and services. These are all specialist in their areas of expertise. Things needed will be a login area for visitors to be able to browse or search the site. There will also need to be a collection of information to be able to track the visitor while browsing. There will also need to be a login area for the vendors that also include a monthly payment with a blockage if there is non payment for the month that they haven't paid. Also there need to be a monthly stats of the visitors and a photo viewer for each vendor either client side or vendor side. This service is needed in alll states and some countries. There will also be advertisers and products for sale so a shopping cart and ssl will also be needed. last and foremost we will need to get search engine top placement. NOW THE MOST INPORTANT PART. I can only do basic design, I am more of a photographer and graphic artist but I am looking for partners. Your payment will come on a monthly basis as a partner as vendors begin to join and pay their monthly fee. This is a residual income business, and could be very good income. i am looking at charging about $50.00 per vender and then fees for advertisers. I estimate about 10 vendors min per state. This will take a team effort: DEIGNER, WEB DEVELOPER, FLASH, ASP, SEARCH ENGINE PLACEMENT SPECIALIST, AND WHAT ELSE? ANYBODY WANT TO DISCUSS THIS. MORE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE TO THOSE SIGNING A NON-DISCLOSURE STATEMENT. THE NAME HAS ALREADY BEEN PURCHASED AND I WOULD LIKE TO IMPLIMENT BY THE FIRST OF THE YEAR.

so you want...
- user registration and authentication
- visitor tracking
- photo viewer
- shopping cart with SSL
- search engine "top placement"

... from a team of people... for $0 up front... in 20 days. so basically you think it's too risky to put your own money and time into. just making sure i'm getting that straight.

please leave and go to craigslist.

I don't think this should be in high profile if you don't have money to pay someone right now.

Moved to free.

Also person posting this. You clearly have no idea the amount of work that goes into what you're looking for. I'd recommend you do some research next time.

We get a tremendous amount of offers for work where there is no money up front but guaranteed money later. In most cases the designer/developer/individual taken on for the job never sees a penny. We're looking out for those getting hired here rather than those doing the hiring, as the little guys are usually the one's to get burned.

Wow, that alot to do there. Also your idea is not 100% going to work, what if you flunk then your in the Scheiße as we say in Germany. Also if you have nothing to offer erm I doubt youll get any responses, what your askign for would probely cost more than 10k, probely way more than that. Also with your advertisement thing, I doubt youll be able to pull it off. A share of $75 dollars a month, that is somewhat of an insult.

OK i received a bid of $600.00 USD to build the site for me and I guess i'll go that way i just thought maybe someone wanted to put forth some effort and own part of the business. i already pruchased visual studio with license, 2 years hosting with 10gig storage and 20gig of traffic per month and the site name. i guess i might as well go all the way and buy the setup too. thanks anyway all.

Nothing wrong with owning a part of the company and working for free. Personally, I would only do it if I could sit down face-to-face with my business partner and get to know eachother.
