This is my company's site, based in Detroit, MI. I would love to hear what you think; what you like and what could be improved.

Thanks!!!

Cheers,
Lisa

I like the background, actually I love it a lot. but the rest look just plain. I don't know why you need to do the nav in Flash and I don't know why you need to box out the whole contents. Btw, the nav look way too Template (sorry I'm not saying you are using it).

I don't know, the whole thing just don't gel, you have a professional looking background but your logo just so out, the choice of colour out. drop the 3d box effect and simply go with a plan box, make is translucent (but not too much).......

just my opinion..... cheers.

Well executed but looks like so many sites out there - not much individuality/style which would help support the aims of the site.

Background is great.

BTW - have attached screengrab of how site looks for me - am sure you don't mean it to be like this :)

Not bad - other than the glitch (that I'm getting too in IE 7)

I love the background - def. fits the site. Your first header with that font choice doesn't fit the rest of the site though ... I would reccomend a "re-design" of that and you're set.

The city scene is a very good idea, but I dont particularly like how it is pulled off, The chosen image is not very sharp, and the photoshop job is kinda lack luster. Your color palette for the supporting site is off, and just doesnt seem to be as fun as the bgrd. Also I think you would be better served making this site a full flash site. Instead of chopping up flash elements. But then again I am not sure the nature of the content.

The whole thing needs More

All your list stylings are default...... hideous

I don't have time to list off everything that caught my eye as being lame, but there was a truckload of padding inconsistencies... its just all unrefined... Put more effort into perfecting it!!!!!!!

Hmmm, not digging the Miami Vice color scheme. Nice background though.

This is not relevant but where did you get that nice desktop shell/theme from?

Just to add, your text rollovers color is a bit to bright and hard to read.

^^ oy these two... :)

So I don't hate the site. It's fine. Lacking content. I like the placing of the advertisments. IE7 HATES your site though. There were forms all over the place. Also on the home page, these two blocks pop up but don't seem to do anything, nor can you get rid of them. It upset me... alot... I don't know why though. You can see them in the picture provided by Cello. One is pink and says "Local Bar" the other is just yellow and pointless.

I like the city theme... but not the menu. It doesn't visually mix. Maybe Black buttons with a gloss look and white text... I don't know.

The info is generic too. Maybe instead of saying "Food:" and then lunch and dinner as options, you could have a link to a pdf that contains that restaurants menu. Just a thought.

I'd love to see this site continue to be revised.

Smells like a template to me. The thin light blue body copy doesnt work on the darker parts of the silver gradients. Purple in the sky in the back is not adding to your design, it's rather distracting. I would suggest sticking with a two color scheme.

After further inspection this looks like a half decent skinning job on a business contact software.

Work with the colours a bit better.... It is a bit femenine... SO you dont want to corner yourself in one target Market....the Main Logo Could Also Improve majorly.. I think that that should be the main focus and branding of your website, and right now is not doing its job... I think your talented enough to make a better one you just have to give it afew more shots.

I design and art direct for living... I hope my constructive criticism helps...
