I've been trying to draw pixel art for a couple weeks now, but I can't get the hang of it. All my art looks nothing like the ones posted on this forum. Of course, it might be because I am a beginner at this, but my question is this: Can anyone tell me how to draw pixel art?

There are lots of tutorials all over the internet. If you post what you've been working on it'd be easier to explain to you what you've been doing wrong and how you could improve.

can we get to create good looking icons using pixel art....or is there any other way to create icons that look professional...

^yep, takes a lot of patience and skill. or if you are lazy, just make a big version of the icon and resize it later;)
