What exactly is a benchmark?

And when I Clicked on run.. it said i was incompatible for certain reasons.. all of which are not true.. so it confused me

A benchmark is normally a program to test the speed of your computer in general. Like 3D Mark...
Double check everything, I was using the resolution 2560x1024 so it wouldn't let me do it first...

I just ran the test, and I received a score of 30970 (or around that...I closed window prematurely). I wish it had a demo like 3DMark did =)

it won't let me run it. I think my firewall won't let the java work :(.
