Not much to critique really. Looks alright - but what can I say!?

nothing much to critique there yet, but for your future development, I'd like to see that illustration or graphics at the top to be more elaborate, I think it'll look nice if you add more to it, not too much, but a little more, to add flow.

And I know, this is the beginning stage, but for some reason, my eye searches for colour for a punch into the design, but yeah, it's a pretty basic layout, I think.

I was actually thinking of pink too, but if you don't want to go with pink, i think a nice yellow green kind of colour would be nice too.

"What is it" I'm quite sure that was answered when I started the thread.
I also added a pink fade.

work off that pink but make it lighter and brigher. it's more of a purple on my screen than anything else. i would also consider moving your logo thing to the other side, it feels empty on the right. with time it will be a lot better than what you got.

I agree with above. Make the pink less purple'ish. And I suggest you remove the gradient on the top. Or do something else with the logo. I think it looks awkward with the logo above the gradient as it is now.
