hmm, i agree with the whole old look of it, and it really does look like a couch. change the pattern and ull be just fine.

I totally disagree with the others. I really like the background texture and the colours are nice. The flower is really cool. I like it alot. Good work!

I think the flower is cool, and a step in the right direction. Can't really comment on the rounded box, would have to see what's in it, but I'm just going to say get rid of the rounded corners as they're ridiculously over used.

As for the background, patters are cool, but the colors aren't working and I don't really think the stripes are a good idea. Try going for something that looks more like wallpaper with flourishes and patterns and stuff like that. The diagonal thing is just too much for a webpage.

No, I strongly dissagree, I think the background is the best part. Keep it, forget the rest. If you make some sort of vintage vanilla cream interface, it would look great. But it would have to take up a lot of space, because the background is kind of strong.

Now you see why i posted it, it can go feircly in both directions. If it's any help, the theme I was trying for was "female blog with a pinch of ISO50". Do you think i acheived what I was trying for?

female with that texture? Are you kidding me? It looks like something from my grandparent's house..... I'd try to tone the background down a bit, I do like the flower, however try something different with the main content box

Looks fairly sexy and definitely feminine. But please add a light drop shadow to the brown part. Because right now it looks way to flat. Besides that, good work. :thumb:

If you're going to use a squidfinger pattern at least change the colors. I think the colors don't go with the flower at all.

I like the colors to that texture, they were where i started from. I will tone them donw, but i do like the color arrangement.
