noob here i kinda saw those icon type images all over here, pixel are izzit? i would like to know wat sftware to use to make em? those small cute ones not those to maek big cities thanx

some are made in Paint =) but it lacks colors...
Most people i guess use photoshop with maximum zoom and work with the 1 pixel large paint/pen tool, painting either pixel by pixel or using line tools....

yep.. Paint.. and if you're good enough, it wouldnt really 'lack colours' :)

I use photoshop, doesn't really matter as long as theres a pencil tool and a zoom :thumb:

I've always used Photoshop whenever I tried, by my pixel stuff really sucks. :)

Confused? Then my work here is done. :)

The only thing I found with Photoshop though was that you couldn't do pixel stuff in RGB Mode, you had to use Indexed Colour... And that's when my colours went all haywire...

It went all weird for me when I tried it. Couldn't get half the colours I wanted. Had to switch between modes to get them.

But then of course I'm not the world's greatest with Photoshop... :)
