I like the background, and the simplicity
the one thing i would change is the font in the windows, its quite hard to read.
and the music gets a bit repetative

I don't like the way you can't tell where the navigation will take you till you're there. Also you should have a sound off button.
Apart from that, it does look nice.

Thanks for your time guys....
I still need to build a sound module for the mixtapes (when they arrive) so I was going to include the option to turn the sound off in there.
You may be right about the navsystem, but I was aiming at something a little more original than the usual and seeing as it all fits on one page, that is what I came up with. I think it's pretty easy to use.

um... have you made all your text dynamic? your big text looks horribly pixellated. you should only make dynamically loaded (and sometimes pixel fonts) 'dynamic text' - the smaller text looks ok (pixellation-wise) but it's a difficult font to read imo.
you've got a good grounding - needs a bit of tweaking here and there - keep up the good work!

Right on AsphaltCowboy, you were right about the big text being dynamic, so thanks for pointing that one out!
I suppose flash sets the text area to the last selected type of text as default.

- The beginning flows in very nicely
- Music Rocks!
- Navigational text is too pixelated
- Rest of text is also pixelated.

I really like the background image. At first I thought it was a cool abstract. After a few minutes, I saw the DJ. I like that everything is right there on one page==simple and easy.

Nice to hear some good reactions on the background, it's my first background!
I still seem to be having problems with the pixelness of my fonts, it is currently the impact font.
I read somewhere that dynamic text boxes don't get anti-aliased..... but I can't seem to find a suitable font that works well in Flash when the text is small and I hate those pixel fonts.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.:smirk:

Mystery Meat Navigation is not professional. Mystery Meat is when the user doesn't know what link they are on until they mouseover. Atleast use symbols that represent what the section is if you plan on using Mystery Meat. Atleast then they have an idea of what the section is and then the mouseover could spell it out for them. needs some work, but its a good start.
