Hey guys
Just a quick portfolio site i have knocked up, wondering what everyone was thinking! it is not supposed to be amazingly complicated just cute and simple. Constructive criticism would be greatly recieved!

i like it, very minimalistic, but it works for me.
only thing, I think you should make the top text clearer, it looks blurred to me or do you hae a drop shadow behind it, as it is hard to read
other than that, i think its good

I like it too....
I would bump ut the gray just a tad more....10-15% more...
I am on a MAC and I am reading #cdcdd1 on the titles and #999999 in the copy.

im using #CCCCCC on the main section headers they are coming out ok I quite like the dreamy quality. I want it quite soft. is it unreadable?

The main content's text's darkness of it is fine to me, would I make it a little darker, probably, but then it comes down to personal preference already I think.
I would still clear up this part, as it is still quite difficult to read.

Hey I do the Internet Course at the Poly!
See from your CV you did the multimedia route, and they called it a BA! When I started it was a BSc and I noticed today on my tax exemption form its not a BEng!!

I like it... Might have been nice to have a subtle color change on a mouseover that sort of fades when the mouse leaves the button... just a thought.
You did a Parkour site, eh? Sweet!

I thinks its amazing. good design. Im in favor of the soft feeling that the website gives the user

I really dont like the way I have to strain my eyes to read the menu. I think you should darken the fonts a little. And trasition easing is very slow at the end. Also preloader could be improved rather than only washing out the page you would add a little outline or add the progress in text somewhre. After I have clicked on the portfolio content, I can still click on the main page in bg, which in my opinion confusing.
Over all it's simple and nice, but still there are issues.

Thanks all, I will get cracking on those issues 'theflash' maybe if I add percent loaded somewhere it will help that loading issue. I did a parkour cd-rom which was great fun 'Vectortrance'

Hey, right guys i have changed the loader so it is a circle with the percentage it it. Ill try and come up with some nice illustrations to help 'fill out' the sections with work in as they look a little blank now. Any more thoughts? Thanks for all the feedback!

noticed a spelling mistake, breif should be brief.:glasses:
also, inflateable should be inflatable.
sorry for being picky!
on checking through, there are a quite a few typing mistakes, could do with another proof reading.
other than that i kinda like it.

Some nice effects there.
If I were a employer looking for your CV, I don't think I would be overly impressed when there are hundreds of other designers out there.
Depends on who your target audience is.

...hundreds of other designers out there....
Don't you mean thousands? :D
I like the minimalistic, clean feel to the site. I still kinda think it needs a bit more 'wow' in it.
Great job so far!

im falling in love with almost every minimalistic site, as long as it's made well. yours is fine! im impressed by what have you done so far, especially considering your age.. if i've done THAT much at the age of 22.. oh my!
i suggest you add some minor sound effects to it, it's too silent! but something quiet, otherwise it will be annoying (since your site is very much click-based.. imagine what would it be if you hear a loud CLICK every time..).
cheers and once more: congratulations for your achievements ;)
