ummm......
It's a tutorial, the point of a tutorial is you follow directions and it teaches you how to do something. I'm not sure what you are looking for, take the time and do the tutorial and then if you have a question on how or why a part of the script works post it.

OK!! Buddy
if ur a new in flash...
So for simple button.....i menas lets start with a simple button......
The trick wat he has done in this file( the link wat u were refering to ) is done through tell target...
but for u lets get down to basic...
Do one thing
GO to insert menu
in that insert new symbol
in that chose button radio button and give a desired name to that button....lets say. 1
now what u see is just four frames
Up , down , over and hit....right
In up state draw a small boxx .....and f6 in all other frames npw in overstate cange the color of the box.....and
againe go to insert
insert new symbol....and now u select a symbol...and name is ab
in ab symbol....u write with the writing tool....any thing ....say ur name.
now f8 it and name it mc...in that give the same name wat u have given to the text....
now in the symbol ab
go to layer 10 and f6
then in frame 10 ( select it.) now from windows panel...chose effects....and in that give alpa = 0
and in between these frame right click and click tweening.
Now Crt+L and go to ur button 1
and in over state put that ab symbol next to the button
and in ur main scen put that button
NOW run it...
and u get it
