using resize()

Does anyone know if,

Is that possible to load an external XML file as gallery in a resize() method??
Basically to shrink the image of the right stage monitor resolution

I couldn't make resize() work properly. It doesn't load at begining but it's only load after I've scaled the window itself...

There is no XML code in that fla. Or anything for that matter to load a image.
