An interesting approach to a search engine, but not very practical in the long run.

This is a "fad" site, there's nothing useful or efficient about it when you put it up to Google. Nobody wants to wait 10 minutes for the site to load before they can search, when they can get better results in a fraction of the time through Google or MSN or Yahoo, etc.

is it just me or can anyone else hear the director telling 'ms dewey' wot to do next??
*edit*
I searched for about 10 things and got '0' results for everything...which included google, ms dewey, shopping...nothing!

No one is stepping to Google, at least not for a couple of years. You have to hold some weight before you can think of stepping up to them, they're not just a search engine & they've been in the game too long just to be bypassed by some gimmick.
No one cares what that site returns anyways, they are mostly waiting for the chick to say / do something interesting.

Google wont be taken over by anysort for a LONG time! If they make an OS (Goodesk ;) ) then they will be on top

I have to say that the interface is neat and original, but it isn't useful. Maybe in the future search engines will have a more flashy gui

she told me she thought i was having a seizure because of "how i was typing" and "called for help"...
With that attitude i doubt she's gonna make any friends.

I agree with matthew, it's way too slow and impractical. And it looks like it's returning pretty much the same stuff Google does. But it is funny to see the way she reacts and stuff to the different stuff you type in and do. :D
