Hey all

With a lot of help from you guys I redid several elements on my site. And I would like you to give it a look again, and see what you think. Dont know if I should change orange elements to yellow or something?

Thx :)

why is it made in flash?
make it in html and more people will be able to see it (cause some don't have/want/know how to install flash player or it just does'nt work...:thumb2:

Its an endless discussion, sure HTML is better for SEO, but I do think enough people have flash to use it now(Flash 6), especially if search engines is not going to be your main market.

I don't like the red on the blue. That's generally a big no-no as it's difficult to read and can even look like it's vibrating in some cases.

No other real comments though, site seems alright.

Okay nice everybody these days are doing sites with fullsecreen flash movie site centered is good.

These thing you may add if you wish or change.
-On press a button make it vissible after visiting the contect page so I know where I`m
-I like your portfolio system there but it would be nice to have its name showen when roll over a number.
-why there is a red letter after every secound letter in a word?

It have a nice wet"water and stuff" feeling I like it but it would be nice to have an animated water effect or something moving in the site. But Maybe that would make the site`s text less noticed.

Good work:thumb2:

Still don't like the typography - the font is better, but the red bits aren't good and it just isn't clear enough. I think the colour scheme itself is too indistinct - the text is so bright that everything else just blends into a murk.

Something to consider is switching the prices button with the websites button. That way the highlighted letters spell oreo!

I like it... except the rollover on the buttons. I like the yellow and the effect but I would remove the black box that surrounds it. The yellow should fade away as opposed to resetting as soon as the mouse moves away.

I forget the terms for this effect but someone will be able to tell you what to search in order to make this effect.

98.99 % of all internet users have flash - your correct there, but only 40-50% of those users have the latest version. i can't see the website on my school's computer because they dont have the latest version, i would suggest html or atleast including an html version of the site.

Don't listen to him. You are pretty safe with flash as long as you design for version 7.

Why version 7?

Well on some of my sites that use google analytics there is still about a 20% usage rate of version 7. But you can also prompt them to get version 9 if you need something specific to 8 or 9.

Allright, I changed the colorscheme pretty dramatically, and I think the site is starting too look better, the top buttons are still a little ****ed, but havent found a better solution yet. Tell me what you think of the design so far.

Thx

Animated water on your header would be cool, and could potentially be pretty simple to make. I mean, this is a flash site, but all things considered, its quite static. I hate animation overkill as much as the next guy, but I think this site could definitely use some movement if only subtle movement.

The right-click menu, and active content needs to be fixed.

You could animate the sea life like this site (http://www.jonathanyuen.com/main.html). But maybe not as fast because yours are bigger. I think that would make it alot better.

Sweet ideas, ill try it with both the water header and the moving sharks etc, lets see if I can pull it off though, im pretty ****ty with animation

Allright, I finished a water effect on the top, looks pretty sweet I think. What do you think?

tried animating the sharks, but didnt look real, so I dropped it. If anyone feels like making a hammerhead shark move, no payment, please do :)

That looks pretty cool.

The water's not bad, although I would maybe boost the frame rate up another 5 just because right now it moves so slowly that its not even noticeable. (I know you want it to be subtle, but try that out and see if it looks any better)

i would think about giving those sharks or fishes, whatever you want to call them, a little more depth instead of having them just be black, and also making them a bit more dull, since they really stick out.
