Hey, what do you guys think of this? For my web class at school, we needed to make site for a database because were learning ASP. So I made this. What do you think of the design? Don't worry about how catalogue is spelt funny... It looks better this way...

it looks pretty cool! But still very empty, I think it might be better if you used seperate images for your links.. IE: Home Main catalogue Contact etc etc...

bevel/emboss = no!
shadows with distance-0 = yes!

dont use dark on dark for your header.

use shadows instead. and use a lighter color for the header.
oh and if possible, you could try removing the scanlines;) really, they're overused

That is where you are wrong, scans are good some times I feel that the scans here just need a little work before it would look good.
