Lose the flash footer and nav and try to make the nav a very light gradient. Gradients arn't bad just don't jump color so much black to an off black would look okay. The header can stay flash if you like... the color transitions kinda nice for the site. Profile has a glitch like you said.

(your flash nav just doesn't fit very well).

Just fix those changes and it should look better (and already using JS so you could have very light rollovers on the nav without flash also).

Cheers for direct feedback.
Are the images on the range page all screwedup? in IE i think.
can you
height:auto; a div with a jpg background?

Will have a play with some js rollovers (maybe) client payed diddly squat for this so I need to spend little time on it.

cheers again

two issues. Div height and also images.

Hang on if I dont specify the image sizes in the html that might cause them to out size the div?

would that be a display: relative;?
sorry for talking about css in showcase will change threads later this arvo.

thanks

The text layout in the gallery section looks a bit retarded...I think you would want to fix their alignment.

Also try to put your nav in to the same flash movie! the site might be more easyer to orginize, also puting all the pages on the same flash movie would help to, its quite easy I usually build all my site templates on gotoAndPlay();.

not sure of what you are suggesting?
a flash background class? Css
or load all content onto a flash stage?

personally i like the flash nav at the bottom, its catchy to the eye, but it depends on the viewer, as i like flash effects like that. regarding the css, it seems too "cringled" or cramped up. perhaps choose a different sans-serif font that displays well in small pixels.

regarding the gallery page, it might be more practicle to keep the information within the same area as the other pages, perhaps using a scrollbar vertically, just to be consistent with the rest of the web site. i like the site very much apart from the little things mentioned by me, yet again, that is just my opinion.

i hadnt noticed the guest artist glitch until after you posted. is that html or css that you used to align the thumbnail?

a question for you though... how did u make your favicon animate like that?
