Nice, but a bit slow and jerky (P4 - 2.56GHz, 512Mb RAM, Firefox, XP Home)

It was very slow and jerky, are you shure you really need it in flash? I think you could do pretty much the same layout (minus the intro animation), in HTML.

why is this done in flash?? The layout looked pretty standard and didn't seem to ahve any crazy animations, so why not just make it in HTML...

Also, jerky on my Machine. (Athlon - 2.2GHz, 2Gb RAM, Firefox, XP Pro)

same here, pretty much lags too.
you could do it way better on html. no need for it to be in flash

i agree... layout is decent, try implement the same design with html and css
