what do you guys think about this band?

i didn't like them at all at first. "yellow" was way overplayed so that's probably why. but then i "found" a cd in the student union the other day and i listened to it here at work. the more i listen to it, the more i like it. weird.

Coldplay is a good band. I got one of their cd's.

yeah, coldplay is really good. i love their new hit, the scientist, which i'm listening to right now. like said, they did play yellow too much on the radio, but as i heard more of their stuff, i grew a liking to the band and their style. why is it that most songs from british bands sound so mellow? Kit?

I love coldplay.. I hate yellow. It was one of those songs that I "discovered." I like unknown bands... and they were pretty unknown when I heard that song... but then everybody started hearing of it and it totally ruined it for me.

yeah, don't you just hate when that happens? that's one particular reason why i hate radio: you hear a song and you like it. then you hear it again and you're like, "hey cool, it's that song i like", then you hear it again and again and again and before you know it, they're playing the song every hour. radio makes me hate music. i got so tired of Creed after hearing "With Arms Wide Open" being played in every radio station in my locale. i occasionally listen to WHFS (raf know what i'm talking about) to catch up with the new stuff. once i hear something new, i listen to their other stuff then perhaps buy their CD. before i'd always keep the radio on, now i barely listen to it for more than 15 minutes.
so yeah, coldplay still rocks regardless and i'm glad their a big hit band. they surely deserve it.
