Bubble - looking for advise

Let me preface this by saying that this is my first try at pixel art, so be gentle ;)

Is everything here kosher, as far as the fog goes?

NOTE: I will be taking out the background when it is finalized.

ad shades to the foggy thing, bubble needs a litle more reflections...

Neat, but it's all very flat looking. Put some highlights on the ball and in the fog. They look like paper cutouts right now. And like mnkey said, I'm not sure about going outside the property lines like that.

thanks for the tips, I think I'm gonna remove the fog up front, and i have big plans for the bubble, it's really just a place holder for know.
