i'm going to make some minor changes soon, but i would like some input on the current version i have up.

A few things:

1. It'd be nice if the portfolio sections had default images instead of the black box.
2. You might go ahead and make it so that the current section has its button disabled.
3. It's a little bland, some persistent photographic or texture elements might be nice.
4. Does that little 'e' do anything?
5. The speed at which the black box moves is a little lethargic.

i will most likely change the speed the box transitions into the next image size. and perhaps disable the cursor on the e.

Definitely agree about the portolfio sections needing some kind of image/texture instead of just the black box, but generally it's a very clean, simple, intuitive site. Not trying to do half a dozen jazzy, cpu intensive effects etc. (which is good IMO!) You've got some nice work in your portfolio too.

I agree with adt100. Your site is very clean and simple. I also like the changing colors of the outfit on your graphic piece. Changing the speed on the transitioning of the box would make things a bit more energetic. But your off to a great start!

kinda just gonna echo with everyones thoughts above about a default image in the portfolio sections and the black box

the guy on the front page seems to be changing colour at random as well, perhaps would be nice if he did it on rollover of the menu

I like the border colours changing its a nice touch and I agree with anogar that the site is a little bland and that you need something...whether thats a texture, brightening the site up perhaps, more graphics...something cause at the moment it's kinda forgettable and boring

6. When I'm in a section and reclick the button for that section, it should not reload that same section I am in.

I like it that is organized, well structured... maybe work on your effects a little more to make it a little wow!.. not that much.. i like it!

I likes as well ... just one more input ...
is when you change from Photo to Graphic for example ... the prior picture is still on it ...
I will change that make to go away or change it to the first pic of the menu ... that may confuse some people ....
