I wasn't overly impressed with the outcome - definitely not deviantART-worthy - so I have started on a digital painting of this which is about 90% finished :D Watch for it soon...

wow, you must be fast at it then.. checked your site, loved the itune player theme. I mainly do coldfusion but friend of mine once did tracing job using illustrator of me and me gf's picture and that was the point when i started getting in to design side.. i started using illustrator some 2 weeks ago doing same tracing thing without any proper guide.

I keep asking this very question again and again but so far i haven't got single answer (not just this forum all illustrator forum on net!!) How do you make this tracing smooth? i tried to zoom in a lot and then do the path but still it's not any were near as smooth as other people's work.. say for example yours.

If you can tell me any tips on this issue i will be very greatfull.
