I put a slider on my web site exactly as it said on this tournament and the problem is that my slider starts from the half, Why? Can anybody help me? And how can I detect the speed?

It sounds to me that it may be your registration point of the slider. What kind of slider are you talking about exactly?

Oh, you mean a preloader type slider thing? Well its hard to say without seeing any of your code. Post some of it here and I'll take a stab at it.
