a while a go i added my not done website here for qritiques.. i listened and changed some things, added some things and deleted some things.

Now almost ready, i have to add some more pictures at the projects part (not all the large stuff is there) and i have to add all the text. it's all some lorem ipsum language..

Please give your opinion. I'm curious about others vision about it.

It's a great start. :)

1. I think it's a little slow - I like the smoothness of the easing, but it gets a little tedious. If it were a bit snappier I would like it better.
2. If you're going to open a new window, why are you resizing my browser for that tiny little splash page?
3. The way that the space is used in 'Projects' seems a little awkward to me.

This is just a beginning.. there will be more work but that later on.. this is just to check if it works for me.. i added a cms into it so i have to check that for errors and stuff..

umm... whats with the macro photo of the stuffed deer head? kinda kreepy with that orange semi-sepia tone.

the big head is a fake buffalo..
it's a sort of mascotte of our company. It's a long story but whatever.. the orange sort of glow over it it's because of our colorscheme. And it gives the website a sort of personality.

Besides that it's something else :)

But thanks for your critique about it.. not everybody will like it. :)

It laggs really hard on an Voodo3 card, I know no one uses that anymore.. Or well many people dont, but I happen to be and its unbearable to do anything except just having the site open, rolling over the menu or doing anything else will cause serious lagg. So I cant really critique :/

I like it, except it sure acts slow/sluggish on my computer at work. :( ... the mascot in the background is different and somewhat unique. I enjoy it. :thumb:

i hate that animal's nose in the background tho :lol:

the top nav rollover noise is a bit annoying to me. also the nav feels a bit unresponsive, 'sticky' - increase the hitstate sizes, and speed up the rollovers.

also make the current page look different in the menu.

itd also be nice if new content quickly faded in instead of just appearing once its loaded.

I love the draggable news popups.

thanx for the comments.. the thing tat the website loads slow is true.. on my powerbook g4 i have the same problem.. but on my PC at work it works fine.

Besides cacheAsBitmap what else can i do..
add the background to another file with loadMovie? so i decrease the main.fla filesize?
If someone have expirience with it let me know :)

i added the background image to an external file.
i that case the main files arde decreased from 367kb to 50kb.. i only don't know if this works better..
