Is there anyway you can create a customized second browser window using flash and be able to test it not being on a server. I'm having a really difficult time. I'm an animator and the technicla part is really getting me.

Is there a reason you can't just set the target of the link in your first browser window as 'blank' and have the target page define itself?

i could do that but that would limit me with not be able to have a scollbar. I would liek to be able to click on a image or button and another window pop up with a movie or image using flash. I'm still trying to get the just of actionscript.

So, wait...you just want a link to pop up a new window that is a specified height and width and has a browser scrollbar? You can do that with HTML on the target page, can't you. I don't think this has to be done in your Flash movie.

so if i have a website built using flash and i have a pic within it. I want to be able to click the image and play the movie in a seperate window. How would I set my movie up to do that.
