New OS !! But on the same Computer HELP!

Hey guys.. my bro just reinstalled Win2k..
And now.. alot of my programs dont work.. like Phtshp.. Do i need to reinstall them all? Or is there anything I can do? I am thinking I got to reinstall most of it..

Just wondering if there is a better way..

I think u have gotta reinstall it unless u wanna start editing the windows system files (never a good idea). Always best for a fresh start in my opinion, reduces the bugs n errors u can get. Enjoy it while u can before ur comp gets taken over by junk again :)

Trust me - you have to reinstall - I know it's a pain cause I have to reinstall my OS about every three months (that's when it starts driving me nuts) and I have to reinstall everything :sigh:

I give my system a "clean-out" every two weeks (ish). It can be a pain sometimes (usually takes about an hour, then defrag over night) but it is worth it in the long run. Its a good habit to get into!

Me and a friend built our computers about the same time. Hes got better specs than me, but because i keep mine in good shape, his runs a LOT slower than my machine hee hee!

hey beer- uninstall everything, fdisk, wipe the whole thing clean, and then start from scratch. reinstalling an OS over an old one can cause for problems.

and btw, make sure you send me all of that chick's music this way if it gets lost i still have a copy of it. ;)
