Nothing too exciting. Requirements were warm, welcoming colors, easy to navigate/read, 800x600 friendly, and easy to update/maintain. I've managed to get this far, critique and suggestions appreciated as always :thumb: ...

Hi there 112am,

Your name sounds like the time I should be thinking about going to sleep but never do.:cons:

Very nice design. I'm liking the color palette and overall design and layout.

I have a couple questions and suggestions.

1. Have you or did you try letting Florida bleed to the very top of the blue? The way it's cut now somehow throws that part off for me.

2. Are you aware that when you go from the "Welcome" section to "Agenda" and back again, you have a page shift of about 6pixels or more?

3. Last thing, I'm not sure about the green tree uptop, but it's not the end of the world by far, you might however want to look into a better blending of it or a useage similar to the brown trees you have coming out from the sides, which I am absoultely in love with.

Keep on Keepin on - Very Tight Design!

Cheers -hetlicht

Hetlicht, thanks for taking the time! For future reference, this town is in Illinois, not Florida, which is why the sudden cut off lol ... though I can now see how it can look that way at quick glance. As for the green tree, that was another one of the questionable areas with me, so I'll see if I get some similar responses.

The pixel shift is what's frustrating ... I don't have that on my pc w/ FF or IE, but I'm also on a wide screen, so when I go down to more common/lower resolutions, everything is blurry and turns to garbage. Anyone also confirm this shifting between menu selections?

Thanks :thumb:

dum-de-dum-dum-de to me..LOL..not sure how I missed that being Illinois, when your first line of copy clearly says that. :smirk: . If it helps I'm on a MAC OSX, Firefox, resolution 1680X1050. Safari does it as well.

Lets check my PC real quick...

PC - Windows XP Professional X64 - Firefox - 1680X1050 - same dealio with the small shift.

It's minor though and I'm sure you'll have it tweaked in no time.

Be well - hetlicht

:) Thank you much! I'll get to that later tonight.

OK, so the main "Welcome" page loads, and then the other 4 links load the same template page ... I show no pixel movement when I go from Welcome top one of the other links - everything lines up as it should in both FF and IE at different resolutions. Can someone please confirm if there is a shift in the content when going from Welsom to any other link, because I'm not seeing this error and therefore don't know how to attempt to fix it.

Thanks!

Definately love it. Would suggest tho that you use a different font for the "sugar grove" title...maybe something a little fuller...and i agree about the green tree up top. Other than that though i think you're right on the ball...

112am - whatever you did, moved or otherwise has fixed it. I now get no shift in the pages in going from "Welcome" to "Agenda" or any other page.

Kind Regards - hetlicht
