Hello! In a game I am making, I have a ninja character :ninja:. I want him to be able to throw shurikans (shurekans, shurikens?). Anyway, I want him to throw a shurikan when I press space. I unfortunately can't find out how to use attachMovie or duplicateMovieClip for these pruposes (or at all, for that matter). Please help! Oh, and here's the .swf:

Don't worry if the art is crappy, that's my last priority right now.
Any other feedback is appreciated too!

Mini tutorial by MasterAhzel at the Actionscript Code Handbook (http://www.ugoplayer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=27493) on UGO player shows how to do this in a short script and even includes files (Flash MX 2004). The link is HERE (http://www.ugoplayer.com/forum/showpost.php?p=1280367&postcount=162).

Unfortunately Copes, I have checked out that tutorial, and when I tried to incorporate it using the exact code, only one bullet could exist at a time. Anyway, thanks for your time guys!

Make sure you check out the links I provided. They are about as simplified as they come on how to do this.
