Hello-

I'm reading the tutorial on How To Create Cool Footers (http://www.kirupa.com/motiongraphics/coolfooters.htm) and I'm stuck on Step Four. I can't find the "Blending Options" panel that they're talking about... I can use either Adobe Photoshop Elements 2.0 or 3.0, I have both. Are they too old/outdated to recognize this feature, or is it called something else instead, or what?

Thanks, help is much appreciated ;)

The tutorial was meant for Photoshop, I dont think it was meant for Elements. But whatever you're using, blending options are your blend modes & opacity controls.

oh, I could see how that could be a problem... does anybody know if there is a way to achieve this effect in Adobe Photoshop Elements?

Post a screen of your elements window.

I'm pretty sure you're out of luck with elements. Elements was made for photo editing and stuff like that, so you're not going to be able to utilize most of Photoshop's more powerful features.

hmm... yes, I was afraid of that. Maybe it's time for me to look into regular Photoshop ;) It was either pay for Photoshop or get Photoshop Elements for free, so I've been making do with Elements and it's handled most of what I've needed to do.

Post a screenshot of just, like, the regular window? Or do you want a screen of a specific part/menu?

I was just asking for the whole UI because I thought elements would definetly had blending modes and maybe you were just missing it.
