Help with Photo Gallery Tutorial

Hey everyone,
I'm driving myself crazy and can't seem to figure out what I'm doing wrong. I'm attempting to follow this tutorial: http://www.kirupa.com/developer/mx/photogallery.htm

I'm running into a problem with loading pictures. So this part:


the folder i'm trying to load from is called "mc1 pics" I've tried putting it on my desktop and showing the route as /Users/etc... and I've tried putting the folder into the same folder as the fla file and just calling it "mc1 pics/" Either way, I can't get it to work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

In case this wasn't already painfully clear, I'm quite new at flash so suggestions should be accompanied with basic explanations.
I really appreciate the help!


Ok I want to add another question as well: Can I incorporate movie clips into the slideshow as well? If so, where should those clips be saved and how should I reference them?
