what about loading, nav, any of that stuff? things working
smoothly?

still working on the mail/submit piece, and i need to adjust a few things
for the thumbnails on the side.

maybe i'll put up some video, but i have a whole host of questions
for how that is done best.

may as well ask now... couldn't i technically have just a folder with
videos in them, and then just have them called with a button or
some thing?

I'd use different pictures for the navigation buttons instead of the same one, and the fact that the text is sideways is kinda a turn-off, it's hard to read and it forced me to tilt my head. Otherwise, site is great. Looks like a very happy family :)

Only critiques ive got correspond with McGruffin's, but one more thing, given that it's a "happy family" :) site, i might have used some lighter pastel colors.

On the straight up comments side tho...AWESOME! Being a Family Guy™ myself, i love the site/content. Awesome job...nothing better than a pround and happy family. And congrats on the cutie, hunter. :) Heres mine:

here are the changes i plan on making.

intro will have a 'skip' option.
thumbnails will have different images.

intro pictures will have other members of the
family, and... i'll see if can get more colorful
images.

i'll see if i can get some thing like what
SlicDiggy has.

i'll be changing the side text to some other
font... one that is more clear.

i might adjust the preloader as well so that it
possibly displays a % 'percent' load.

i'm also getting a ton of older (scanned) pictures
for fill more content on the site.

eventually the e-mail submit will work as well.

you mentioned "extreme"... whats your speed, and how long roughly?

i'll see if i can convert the images to .png, and get some 'perhaps' better
size for them. i could load external .swfs, but rather not change the layout
for now.
