Some of you probably know this, but Firefox 2.0 Beta 1 is out for developers.
You can check it out here (http://www.mozilla.org/projects/bonecho/releases/2.0b1.html).

That is weird... as much as I hate explorer, it does download better than FF sometimes.

right now im testing it its preety cool it has the same interface, now it ads icons to the quick fav icon at the below of the url addres bar. it has more options at the top search tool bar. but the problem is that many extensions and themes are not compatibility with this versions so i cant use them. :(

That's because you are using a theme.

Yeah… despite FF's awesomeness, the rendering engine is sub-par compared to others. :-/

Admit it, FF is sub-par!

No, FF is awesome. It's just that… and it's ugly on Mac, which was originally supposed to be fixed in FF2.0, if I remember correctly, but was changed.

I'm glad they're at least planning on fixing everything up for version 3. It should be a great release. I'm not that excited about 2, but it's important for them to be increasing product numbers now to add validity to their product, in my opinion.

Yeah, that's a good point. Non-computer users don't like early-version software…

In your opinion, of course. I personally couldn't care less.
